" The NZ Open (full
contact tournament) was held at Avondale last weekend.
We had three fighters compete of which two won medals.
Warrick Sapachan fought extremely well and
achieved 2nd place/silver medal, Daniel Martin showed
good strength and achieved 3rd place/bronze medal.
finally Jarrod Parkinson fought well, unfortunately
retired his last bout due to an injury. Well-done to
all three competitors. Thanks for the support from
families and other club members during this event.
Special thanks to Lyn Davidge,Team Manager for the
tournament and Master Jeff Lockhart, as always for
continued support and mentoring the club members. Iain
